I am sending along my application form for a one-year stay at Otago Polytechnic (February to November 1996). I would like to be admitted to the Diploma of Management Program. It is necessary for me to take third year courses at Otago Polytechnic in order to comply with the requirements of my German Government Grant (BAFöG).

You can reach me by telephone on +49 xxxxxx and by fax on +49 xxxxxx. By the time I arrive in New Zealand in February 1996, I will have received my "Vordiplom" in Industrial Engineering from Jena Polytechnic. This is the degree that one receives after two years of study. After I return from New Zealand, I will continue to work for my B.Sc degree at my home polytechnic. With regard to English, I will have had 6 1/2 years by the time I arrive in your country and will arrange to take the TOEFL-Test in the near future.

I am attaching certified copies of my various school and academic certificates, but I haven't had them translated. If this is necessary, please let me know. Could you also send me some information on whether student health insurance is available from you and how much it costs.
